Baltimore Sports Team Reaches Out to Communities

Ravens Give Back to City

The Baltimore Ravens Purple Caravan made several stops in Baltimore on Tuesday, July 19, 2023, as part of its annual outreach program. The caravan, which features Ravens players, coaches, and staff, visited schools, recreation centers, and community organizations throughout the city.

The first stop was at Harlem Park Elementary School, where the Ravens donated books to the school library and spoke to students about the importance of reading. The caravan then visited the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture, where they met with museum staff and toured the exhibits.

The Ravens also visited the Reginald F. Lewis Community Center, where they participated in a basketball clinic with local youth. The caravan concluded its day at the Clifton Park Golf Course, where they hosted a golf clinic for military veterans.

The Ravens Purple Caravan is a year-round program that aims to give back to the Baltimore community. The caravan has visited more than 1,000 schools and community organizations since its inception in 2004.

The Ravens are committed to making a difference in the Baltimore community. The Purple Caravan is just one of the many ways that the team gives back to the city.
